Anonymous editing allows people without a maemo.org account, or users not logged in, to edit pages in the wiki.
This has two side effects:
- It is much easier for people to edit (and hopefully, improve) the content of the wiki.
- It is possible for people with accounts to make changes anonymously, when they intended to be logged in; and therefore lose any karma benefits.
The current policy on anonymous editing in the maemo.org wiki is under discussion.
