Diablo was the Maemo 4.1 release that came before Fremantle and after Chinook. It added Seamless Software Update to OS2008, which allows over-the-air updating with apt rather than requiring a reflash, simplifying incremental operating system updates.

Diablo was released in June 2008 for the N800, N810 and N810 WiMax edition devices[1].
