- In august 2013, Discussion started here: Moving Hildon Foundation to a german e.V.
- In march 2014, Maemo Community e.V. got established in a kickoff-meeting
- Since july 2014, this thread informs about the development and provides updates on HiFo & MC e.V.
- In august 2014, after one very vocal councelor at that time, tried to defeat MCeV as a whole, Win7Mac wrote an Open letter: Community, Council, Board and the MC eV
- Consequently, discussion started about the roles of Maemo Council and Maemo e.V.. As a result, a referendum determining Council role will likely be held in the next Council term.
