This is an alternate proposal for the homepage. I've moved the "Search & Log in" to the header next too the main menu. I've also removed some boxes and reorganized the content. A problem that I noted in the layouts done so far is that all of them are structured in columns so the content is limited in that restricted space. This new layout tries to solve the problem with the distribution of the information.
